Executive Order No 2 of 2018
The Public Procurement Information Portal continues to collect information on companies bidding for local contracts. No progress made towards establishing a register of companies buying property. In September 2020, the National treasury sent out a call for validation of the EGP implementation strategy. The acquisition and subsequent implementation of an e-Government Procurement (e-GP) is a key Public Procurement structural reform area that is outlined in the Budget Policy Statement for the current Fiscal Year (2020/21). It is, however, unclear if this EGP is OCDS compliant as no more information is publicly available on this beyond the notice. The positive thin is that the treasury is asking for submissions by CSOs and competent organisations and companies, so hopefully this will lead to accelerating reform in interested areas.

Public procuring entities continue to upload data on the Public Procurement Information Portal. The portal specifically contain companies that get government contracts. No such portal exists for companies buying properties. No indication about the establishment of one. However, in 3rd OGP National Action Plan there is a commitment to publish a central public register of company beneficial ownership information operating in the Republic of Kenya along with the implementation of the Open Contracting Data Standards in full.
