FILTER BY COUNTRY & ORGANISATION -or- ISSUE AREA:
ARGENTINA

The majority of Argentina's commitments assessed as inactive are neither new nor ambitious. A not new and not ambitious commitment to expand beneficial ownership identification of foreign companies is inactive, as is a commitment to explore options for establishing central registers of foreign companies. Although some of the less ambitious pledges may not have seen any progress, Argentina is making strides on some of its newest commitments.

With the exception of a commitment to promote the inclusion of Argentina to the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative, all of Argentina’s new and ambitious commitments have been started or completed. All of Argentina’s commitments on anti-money laundering and on protecting whistleblowers have been started.
